A stay filled with warmth
I was like family. The staff knew my preferences and made every meal nice with good recommendations. The serene spa was a haven of relaxation.
The living area in my suite was a bit humid at times was great. It needed better ventilation, especially on warm days.

The kids enjoyed the Serai pool, and we loved the onsite restaurants with a bespoke menu that catered to the little ones. The outdoor space was perfect.
My kids wished there were more kid-friendly activities available.

location is close to the airport, nice welcome drink, upgraded to deluxe room, breakfast was good.
insufficient lighting in reception and corridors. check-in took 30 minutes considering we were the only two in the lobby. open ware-drops facing the wash basin. corridors are humid and hot as staff keep forgetting to close the door. chef stops at 3 PM very limited room service menu, pizza was uncooked. hotel drive-way is dark, far from the main road & without a walking path. overall the hotel is very expensive in such (low season) and overrated. should be 4 star at best.

Got potential, but needs work
Nice place, but had its issues. Check-in felt chaotic, sat for ages without any info. Sira in the restaurant was a gem, though! Good food options for special diets. Had to hunt down pool umbrellas on a hot day, annoying. Rooms were comfy but expected more for the price.

luxerious design ineterior and exterior wise, staff were friendy at some points, good location, suitable for relaxation especially around swimming pools and the private beach
staff couldn't keep the welcoming level all the time especially at somepoints when we felt the pressure on them, there was an obvoius diffrence between the check in/check out welcoming. Most importantly the rooms has a major defeciency especially for muslims: 1-the bathroom door is transparent which hurt the privay. 2- there is no cleaning hose in the toilet which made us use drinking bottle for cleaning (this is a major issue for muslims) we didn't expect that in a muslim country like Oman.

Overall had PEACEFUL stay for a weekend getaway. The breakfast was above average and sensational with a great selection of food and soft drinks. The location was prime and best possible for me, in the lush greenery of the surrounding date palm gardens. Easily reached Biggie's Pizza, located within walking distance of the hotel, had lunch/dinner there.

We were very happy with the location. In the city of Muscat, convenient to all shopping and venues. It's own 'private' beach, with constant discreet attention from the 'beach' staff. Elegant, Quiet/peaceful and relaxing. Specific areas/pools for adults only, families with children.
Disappointing breakfast experience. Lots of supervising/managerial staff but vast lack of 'waiting' staff. Breakfast menu is misleading and not comprehensive .. if you don't ask .. you dont get .. the staff do not explain what's available to eat. There is a 'menu' of sorts showing minimum information. Very poorly laid out. Mainly the various ways you can be served ''eggs'' ..I kid you not. If you want an English style cooked breakfast again you need to ask. The ''cooked'' breakfast is served at your table while everything else is 'buffet' style .. however, the staff speak very limited English. We waited 45 minutes for two 'eggs florintine' and when it arrived it was wrong. How do you get two poached eggs wrong? Why do you have to wait 45 minutes for two poached eggs? It's a 5***** hotel isn't it??? The guests at the table next to us had the same expeience ... a long wait after the initial self sevice part then when their breakfast arrived it too was wrong .. I was completely amazed at the lack of interest by management when this was brought to their attention. Maybe a review such as this will make them sit up a little and take notice .. I know its a small thing .. but .. its an important part of the day .. no one likes to start their day badly.. Therefore an important issue.

great experience but minor room oversight
The staff showed really good attention to detail, ensuring every guest felt valued. My room featured fine decor that elevated the overall ambiance. The amenities provided were luxurious, particularly the spa services . I also appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the facilities throughout my stay.

Private and relaxed with excellent service. The staff were exceptional for this part of the world and demonstrated an inherit desire to make my stay as luxurious as possible - very much appreciated.
It is a not a cheap location, however the suite prices are usually 500 riyal per night I got them for a welcomed discounted rate, which made up for it.
